Infomation from the GA Dept. of Education

To date, the H1N1 flu season has been widespread in Georgia, though infections for most otherwise healthy people have been relatively mild. However, Public Health officials remind everyone that we all should continue to take precautions to limit the spread of illness, including washing hands frequently, covering coughs and sneezes, and staying home when ill. In addition, make plans to get a seasonal flu vaccine. When available, consider an H1N1 vaccination if you or a family member are in one of the higher-risk groups for H1N1 (school-aged and college students, pregnant women, and others with chronic health conditions).
